Speakeasies were developed during a period in American history when prohibition was enacted. Women received the right to vote, aviation was new and silent movies were the rage. There were also gangsters and keystone cops. The 20’s even had its own slang. We intend to play on all of these themes to create a delightful evening. This event will be fun and fast paced with multiple opportunities for guests to participate in fundraising.

This event provides scholarships for women in Tuolumne County to return to school to complete their education or receive training opportunities to advance or change their career path.

It doesn’t take a “Big Spender” to be the “Bee’s Knees” at the TCWN Speakeasy Soirée. We greatly appreciate your support of this event and our scholarship program.
