SNOWMAGEDDON 2023

I hope you are all safe and sound after this big storm came in and dropped historic snowfall amounts and knocked out power to a lot of the county. If you live up the hill and are still shoveling, I'm sorry, but just think about the arm work out you're getting. I know, not funny, but you have to have humor to keep your sanity. Just when I was starting to write this blog our power went off at our house and stayed off for a day and a half.  We were lucky as other peoples power has been off longer. So big question, were you prepared? This question goes across the board for everything in our lives including our businesses. We need to be prepared and we need to set goals. Every business should have goals and have a check off list once we complete those goals. At this month’s General Dinner Meeting on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023, we are going to hear from Cindy Zelinsky, owner of Emberz Restaurant, The Royal Olive Manor, The Millz Manor, Lazy Z Resort and Zelinsky Painting.  She'll talk to us about Goal Planning. I'm looking forward to hearing her speak and capture some items of wisdom from her. Don’t wait to make your reservation — Purchase tickets here and join us for what is sure to be an insightful (and fun!) meeting!

I'm sorry that I wasn't able to attend our first meeting of the year. I received feedback that it was a great success.  I'd like to thank my VP, Ashley Moore for doing a fantastic job running the meeting in my absence. It was a very busy time for Ashley and Wildbud Creative being that our meeting was in February and she took time out of her busy schedule to fill in for me.  That's what I love about our network, we have each other's back.

If you have any suggestions or ideas for other meetings, the board would love to hear your suggestions.

Here’s to a better month in March, with less snow and more sunshine!

Karen Mariano-Luckhardt, President
